Easy Easter Bunny Cake
This is a super easy, festive Easter treat!
-Bake a cake, from a box, (I know, I'm taking the easy way out!) in a 13x9" pan. I have baked one bunny with plain yellow cake, another cake with "funfetti" and a 3rd with white cake and strawberries (that's the best, in my opinion!).
-Follow the baking instructions on the box. Then cut out the shape of bunny head, once the cake cools. (And you'll get to eat the left-over scraps, yum!). They do make plastic stencils/cake cutters for this sort of thing if you need assistance! You can find them in the stores around easter time. Sometimes you can even find a pan shaped as a bunny head (to bake the cake in) which would be even easier!
-Frost the cake (white frosting works best, I think) and have fun decorating! Kids always love to help out with this part
-I used MnMs for the ears, outlined with pink icing and larger fruit candies for the eyes and nose (peanut MnMs would work). Then I used thin twizzlers for the whiskers and icing for his bow tie! You can be as creative as you want, here, it's lots of fun. Enjoy!
