Unique Cake: Twilight Birthday Cake

This is an overall easy to make cake.
The cake was just a white cake, with real strawberry and whipped cream filling.
The outer icing was whipped cream white with chocolate shavings to make the chess board.
The cake resembeled the 4 Twilight books.

The main design of the cake was a checker board / chess board - as per Breaking Dawn (Twilight Saga) theme.
The cake was decorated with: chocolate pawns ( - made out of white chocolate and strawberry flavored chocolate; an apple (Twilight Book) - on which Happy 30th Syl was incribed; Flower (New Moon). There was red ribbon tied around the cake(Eclipse).

The cake looked absolutely awesome, and was a great compliment to the Twilight Birthday Surprise. All you needed was Edward to make the party a blast.
