Tinkerbell Cake

I bought the tinkerbell cake pan and followed the directions and used the same colors the pan said to use.

I made a sheet cake to place the tinkerbell cake on top of and that I made homemade buttercream icing for the bottom. I used rolled fondant for the eyes, hair tie and mouth.

It took about 5 hours and was for a baby's first birthday party which theme was magical tales...

Did you decorate the Tinkerbell cake and then place it on top or did you place it on top and decorate both cakes at the same time?

Very creative! Love this cake! I would have never thought about making a sheet cake to put it on. Great cake!
