The Baby Cake to Celebrate 100 Days

This was the cake to celebrate our sweet kitten's 100th day after the birth. The cake was actually like 9 inch size.

We baked the cake and did all the decoration by ourselves since we would like to make this cake really unique and meaningful. It took us like 3 hours to finish all the process. However, the whole afternoon was full of happiness and fun.

We baked the cake body with the powder from the supermarket; it did not take us a lot of time and eventually we found the cake tasted really nice. We made the cream cover with sugar-free flavor since we did not want to make it too sweet for the baby.

The most challenging part of making this cake was the baby lying there. It took us almost 2 hours to make the ears and fingers for the baby. However the nose was the cutest part of the cake that we believe. We were so glad that our kitten really loved this cake though she could not really have a lot of it.

Thanks for the help from grandma. Without your help, the cake could never be this wonderful. It was great that we kept a picture of the cake and a record of that happy time.
