Sleeping Baby Cake

For the Sleeping Baby Cake you will need-
2 layer sheet cake covered with fondant
1 baby doll with accessories
5lb's fondant food coloring: Green, Purple, Yellow, and Pink
Luster dust for the pearls.

Ahead of time make the pearls, about 6mm-8mm, out of fondant shake them in luster dust. Make a strip and attach with icing all around the bottom of the cake to resemble a bed skirt.

Make a pillow out of fondant cut a strip of fondant to attach around the pillow make little folds in it then cut a smaller ribbon of fondant to also attach to the pillow attach both ribbons with icing.

Measure your cake from side to side across and also measure how long you want the blanket roll out the fondant cut to your measurements then with a cookie square cutter cut out squares in each color then cut out with smaller cookie shapes in side of the squares.

Then place the pillow on the cake attached with icing then place the doll on the cake now cover the doll with the rolled and measured fondant now moisten every square and attach it to the fondant and match the squares with different colored shapes on the inside. Make ribbons on different color like the squares and make little cuts on the ends to resemble fringe also moisten them and attach around the blanket of the cake and just attach pearls with icing.

Then at the end place all the baby accessories all around the cake.
