My Little Pony Cake

I bought a few already baked yellow sheet cakes. At home I have all that is necessary for cake decorating. I filled in between the cake layers whip cream and fresh strawberries. I then covered the entire cake with white buttercream. I used a airbrush gun with different colors to make the background rainbow colors.

Because the food coloring leaked onto the sides of the cake I had to use the sprinkles to cover up that mistake. Then I just used crunchies and sprinkles to make the dirt pathway and green sprinkles for the grass. I bought a deco pack from a bakery and added my own little draw bridge to the castle and the little lake around it. Then I just used gel writing for the "happy birthday.." and added the white border around the entire cake. I really enjoyed making this cake it came out looking good and it was fun to make!
