Lilas Flower Birthday Cake

To make this pretty flower birthday cake I iced this 2-layer french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.

I tinted fondant, and cut out flower shapes, interchanging the middles and stuck them on.

Lila loves the 'thick icing' flowers =o)
