Happy Fall Y'all Cake

This festive guy was inspired by all those cute and crafty scarecrow signs in peoples front yards.
His body and legs are cake, his head is molded rice krispie treats and his arms are fondant supported with a wooden dowel.

I covered and decorated him with marshmallow fondant and then hand painted him with food coloring to give him that rustic look. The sign is fondant covered cardboard.

I just wanted to hug him when I was done, but instead I had a slice!
